Insider tip… How do you maintain your make-up brushes?

Every time you use your makeup brushes, makeup, skin cells and bacteria accumulate in them. An occasional cleaning of your brushes will keep the bristles clean and reduce the risk of acne and aging of the skin. So, cleaning makeup brushes can actually promote a radiant, youthful skin.

Cleansing can easily be done every 2 weeks with for example Unicura (disinfecting) soap and lukewarm water. Make sure that you carefully moisten the bristles only and prevent water from running into the ferrule in which the bristles are glued. The water can affect the glue, causing the hairs to fall out.

If the brush has just been washed, we advise you to let it dry as flat as possible (preferably upside down).

After the bristles have been dabbed dry, try not to let any water to get to the roots of the bristles, as this can still affect the adhesive.
